This site is a place for loose ends, older projects and longer thoughts. And this is my html sitemap, or explanation of sorts, on how this site works.
I’m Dan Williams. I’ve written here about running, Fastest Known Times, stamps, eBay, search, AI and a few other things that have caught my attention over time.
Some of it is archive material. Some of it relates to my stamp business, Apollo’s Lots Stamps. Some of it is just me thinking through patterns I’ve noticed while selling, collecting, running or trying to understand how things connect.

The short version
- danwilliams.site is my personal site, archive and notebook.
- Apollo’s Lots Stamps is my stamp business.
- The Apollo’s Lots eBay store is where current stock, sales and feedback live.
More about this site
I started using this site to bring a few different parts of my life and work into one place.
There are old running reports here, including Fastest Known Time attempts and route write-ups. There are also notes about eBay, discovery, buyer behaviour and search, mostly written from the point of view of someone selling specialist GB stamps online.
The subjects are not here because they form a neat category. They are here because they are things I have done, handled, noticed, questioned or returned to.

Running and FKT archive
The running pages are mostly older archive material. They are kept here because they were part of my life for a long time and because some of the reports are still useful to people looking for route or FKT information.
Stamps and Apollo’s Lots
Apollo’s Lots Stamps (formerly Apollo’s Lots GB Stamps) is the name I use for my stamp business. It focuses mainly on collectable stamps of Great Britain, with all stock listed through eBay.
The Apollo’s Lots website is the better place for stamp information, grading notes, examples of unusual material and links to some current stock.
eBay, discovery and search
Some of the newer writing here is about eBay discovery, recommendations, buyer behaviour and findability.
These are not secret algorithm notes or claims to know how eBay works behind the scenes. They are observations from selling specialist items online, mixed with a wider interest in how people find things, compare things and make decisions.

Other thoughts
There are also a few pieces here about AI, entities, keywords, measurement and systems. They are not intended as a separate SEO blog. They are more like notes from trying to understand how different systems describe, connect and surface things.
